Liu Jo Waves Concept Florence

Florence // 2001

The Liu Jo store in Florence, set inside a Renaissance building dating to 1400 in the heart of the Tuscan capital, is a luminously welcoming boutique where contemporary materials and elements including gilded metal, slate, mirrors and neon lighting create a pleasing contrast with the bare stonework and frescoed ceilings. The ambience is an example of the Fabio Caselli Design “Waves Concept”: backlit wave-shaped mirrored surfaces guide the public on an itinerary designed to show off the collections in their best light.
